Hi Niks, You need to eat what it takes to keep your body functioning in a healthy way. Some folks would say you should eat less to compensate for the extra 200 calories that you burned by smoking. I say you should eat in a healthy way instead. Most plans recommend eating no less than 1,200 calories a day. Fewer than that can lead your body into starvation mode, which means it then stores fat instead of burning it. You may think that is a lot, but when I started paying attention to getting ENOUGH calories, I found that I was able to lose weight. It isn't healthy to not eat anything at all! Your body, just like your car, needs fuel to run on. You may find if you eat in a more regular fashion you will have a lot more energy.
