Having one of those days...

Monica, This is an important lesson to learn and it isn't always easy to follow. Sometimes we feel guilty taking that time for ourselves but by not making ourselves first once in a while we are doing a disservice to those we care for. We give them our best if we are at our best. Hoping you feel better soon. Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team

Tutti, Smoking does indeed increase blood sugar. Be sure to keep a close watch on your medication in consultation with your doctor as it may now need to be adjusted. Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Oh Monica! I love that picture you started with. I have so many days like that. LOL I know exactly what that feels like. When I quit I worked in accounting and every month end I would get all stressed out and want to smoke. I did this for months before I realized what it was that was making me feel that way. YOu are perfectly normal and it will pass. Try to see if you can tell what is that is setting you off. For one thing getting too tired is not good. You need your strength and energy for this quit. I use to have "me" days as a reward. Kids went to school and I would take a day off from work and chill... It did me a world of good. Don't forget H.A.L.T. Hungry, Angry, Lonely, and Tired. You want to stay away from these things. They can destroy your quit! You are doing great and having a sense of humor as you do really helps. Keep up the great job! You are AWESOME!
