Sydney, glad to see that you managed to not give in even when you had the opportunity to do so. You should be proud of yourself, before you know it heck week will also be over for you!

You mentioned how you distracted yourself in this situation, where you had to face a smoker. What did you do that was helpful for you?

So today is my 11th day not smoking, wow do the days ever go so quickly! Sometimes I look back and can't believe I ever got through the first day not smoking!! I am proud of myself that I have thats for sure.

Yesterday I went to dinner at my moms bfs place and he is a pretty heavy smoker, it was my first time ever really being around someone for an extended period of time with someone who smokes. It was kind of hard because the pack was sitting right there, but the smell of the smoke and the smoke itself made me feel all dizzy and sick and the smell was not pleasent thats for sure. Sure I had some huge cravings but they passed, smoking was not an option and I told myself they would pass and I distracted myself and the cravings did pass. So I passed that test. I also always have to remeber its never just one cigarette it is a million cigarettes every day and night it doesnt stop.
