Yes, according to what I have read. However, I am going to my GYN to talk to him about testing my hormone levels including my thyroid hormone for the same reason. I am experiencing depressive symptoms before and after my cycle. If you do have premenopause, your GYN should be able to give you information about the symptoms and what could be helpful in your particular case. I am 37 years old. So, hopefully he can give me a definitive answer and suggestions. I hope this is helpful in some way. T
