I just wanted to say that I am finding out about freedom. It's not what I expected. I really didn't think that my smoking was masking anything. I truly believed that they were not harming me in any way and that I was enjoying the buzz I got from them. I also didn't see any harm in smoking around others. Could not see what all the fuss was about. So what If I had to decorate my house more often and If I had to keep wiping away the brown stains from the kitchen cabinets. As for the cost, well I don't have any other bad habits. �50 per week is not a lot???? WHO WAS I KIDDING????? Anyway, I feel as though someone has taken away a veil from my eyes. No I am not completely free. That little demon can still pack a powerful punch! However it is getting easier and with each little victory, my views are getting clearer. One of my joys is realising that I can still smell the shampoo in my hair at night. Small potatoes I know but nice all the same.One day at a time. Small steps. Hi susie144 - It's not small potatoes at all!! I remember being able to smell things for the first time in a very long time, and it really is like an awakening. There is so much to discover, on this journey, so I'm excited for you! Freedom from this horrible addiction is an amazing thing, and the journey is very powerful...
