Hi beachperson, congrats on 5 days! Your almost through hell week. I too had headaches at the beginning of my quit. They should subside as you get further into your quit. Hang in there, use your coping skills, hot showers, cold water, whatever works for you. I found hot showers with the water beating down on the back of my head and neck helpful when asprin didn't work. Other times I just crawled into bed and hid from everything and napped. Hi All, I am 5 days quit and yesterday I got a terrible headache that just won't go away. Has anyone else experienced this? I have taken headache medicine which makes it feel somewhat better but I just can't get it to go away. If it has to do with quitting smoking I am okay with that - it will not make me smoke. I just want to know. Thank you for listening and answering.
