It` does get better, Mamma D, really. I had sleep problems teh first few weeks too & now I sleep better than ever. If you're really exhausted & really can't get to sleep, try getting roaring drunk. NO, just kidding. Exercise does help but not too close to bedtime. Try a relaxing bubble bath with candles (not in the bath) & a cup of chamomile tea. While you're sipping your tea, try visualizing yourself tucked into a nice, warm, comfy bed. Imagine yourself relaxing & drifting off into a sound sleep. Don't let any other thoughts intrude & make sure your environment is calm & relaxing. I use a lot of visualization for relaxation & getting through triggers annd I find it reallty works for me. I hope it does for you, too. Sweet dreams! MamaD, Enjoy your nap and hang in there. Maybe it's time to treat yourself to a reward for doing so great and making it to 18 days. This is not an easy thing. We have our hills and our valley's, but this too shall pass, smoking a cigerette isn't going to make it any better, so don't smoke, take a nap, follow-up with the doctor, buy yourself a reward, just don't smoke. MammaD, that is one of the most common complaints here I think. But it does get better very soon, I think after about three weeks it got much better. The other very common complaint was sleepy & foggy during the day. Your body is adjusting now that the yukky drugs are all out of your system, so hang in there, the good stuff is coming! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 206 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,150 Amount Saved: $2,173.30 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 4 Mins: 50 Seconds: 44

Hey everybody....thanks for all the help....Hugs & Kisses Not feeling so well today and I think it is due to lack of sleep. I cannot seem to fall asleep or I have anxiety/panic attacks. Have already seen doc and will soon be on bi-pap shortly but in the mean time I need to get some rest. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have suggestions other than relaxation exercises, reading, going for walk. Will see doc tomorrow for follow up. Will check back after a nap...I hope.
