AWESOME! It's just easier and easier from this point. Pretty soon you will not even think of smoking for days, then weeks and so on. Nice work. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 146 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,650 Amount Saved: $730.00 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 8 Mins: 11 Seconds: 17

Skullyfrost, Great to see that you have almost made it to week one but make sure that you define what smoke free is. Occasional slips can leas to longer and bigger slips. Brenna, Bilingual Support Specialist

Unhooked is right Skully. You need to stay away from the smokes and plan ahead for the stressful situations. Besides you know cigarettes don't help in stressful situations at all. How do you plan ahead? Have hard candy, cold water, straws, printed out posts, self talk, whatever it takes to get you through, just don't smoke! Smoking is NOT an option! NOPE! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 245 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,125 Amount Saved: $2,584.75 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 22 Mins: 51 Seconds: 33

skullyufrost, I'm not sure what you mean by "only a couple of slips". If you are smoking at all, then you still have nicotine in your system and you are leaving yourself vulnerable to physical cravings. You will continue to crave as long as you continue to give in to the cravings. N.O.P.E, Not One Puff Ever is the only way to do this. If you are worried about stressful situations, make sure you have strategies in place for them & promise yuorself that you will use them. Commit to yourself that snoking is not an option, it doesn't change anything anyway. I honestly didn't feel like I would make it. And with only a couple of slips, tomorrow is my day seven. My withdraw symptoms are starting to lessen and my cravings are not as bad, but the true test will be when I get stressed if I will keep it up.
