No that didnt work out so well, here I'm new in my quit, doing so well in general and I try changing the key thing that got me to this point. It sucks to think that im stuck relying on meds, at least for now. I cant believe how bad you can get and fast, if your not at a point to do this. I will just have to put up with the side effects.

This is probobly the worst I have been in regards to just saying forget it, I want to smoke. That for me is part of the hopelessness part of depression. Had I not been doing so well on meds I wouldnt have made the choice to quit.

Brenda is right when she says that what you've been doing has been working well so far. It will likely be best to stick with what is working and then re-evaluate to see if there's the possibility of making a change. You have been very tough and brave through this whole experience and you must be very proud of what you have accomplished, I know we are!

Lance, do nothing to jeopardize your quit. If it weren't for antidepressants and mood stabilizers, I probably wouldn't have this quit. What has been different about this attempt is that I had the right combination of medications. During other quits, I had manic episodes and couldn't keep going. There is no shame in needing help. I'll have to take psych meds for the rest of my life, and I don't like being dependent on the medical community, but that's life. What you have been doing has been working so far. Don't jump the gun. Give yourself time to establish new habits before you experiment too much. It's still very early in your quit. From what I've seen, you're one tough person. Have you received any virtual gifts lately?

Lately I have been doing pretty good, this was one of the reasons I wanted to quit smoking, to help myself any way I could. But I think I got a little overconfident and think I realized, I may not be ready to go off antidepressants. They make me very tired, the one I'm on. I wanted to just be strong, do it myself. I felt myself sliding back to how I was a few months ago, If youve never been there, dont go, it sucks like you wont believe. When you cant get going for the life of you and you cant help it trust me its bad. So at a time where I am going through the changes of not smoking and dealing with the worst time in my life, I wanted to try this after making great progress. Well, not such a good idea. I will try it again, hopefully soon. I dont want to be a slave to meds, like I was smoking. But if I need them to live a life, then I have to do it. I hate feeling weak and many you are when you have issues with depression.
