How to Keep Motivated?

14 godina 0 230 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I was on the verge of smoking last summer because of a 20 lb plus weight gain after quitting.     Then my brother (49) was dx with lung cancer after being smoke free for over 5 years.  Thats my number one reason to not smoke!  Thats why today i'm still smoke free.

Members,

Quitting smoking is hard. For some it’s easier than for others but any way you put it, it’s no easy feat to quit. There’s a lot of decisions to sort through when it come to quitting, choosing a quit aid, cutting down or quitting cold turkey, when to stop, etc.  Once you’ve finally ironed out all of the fine details it can be hard to find the motivation to actually get going.

There are a lot of benefits to help keep people motivated to quit smoking; short/long term health, saving money, freedom from addiction, approval from self, friends and family… the list goes on and on. Apart from the benefits, it’s also really encouraging to reward yourself to keep motivated.

Here are just a few ideas to keep the motivation strong. Please share with us how you’ve kept motivated on those not so good days.
